About Us

Lichfield karate Academy welcomes anyone over the age of 5 years to adult, at any fitness and any level of experience. We aim to develop confidence and self – esteem, discipline, physical strength, endurance, co-ordination and weight management making healthier stronger kids and in turn stronger families.

We promote equality between different groups in the community whilst also addressing the diverse needs of the individuals.

We take special care to ensure that all our members especially the young ones feel safe and secure and that their experience of Wado-Ryu sport Karate is both an enjoyable and rewarding one. All instructors at Lichfield Karate Academy are DBS checked and approved with liability insurance in place along with child safe guarding.

Our story

Story

LKA is formed and starts with 3 classes and 6 students per class promoting equality across all age ranges and groups.

LKA branches out into Longdon and Shenstone as well as in schools.

LKA opens a class in Whittington and has grown to 198 students including after-schools classes in Midlands and Staffordshire areas.

5.30 -6.30pm Young Ninjas age 5 -11
6.30 -8pm 11+ to adult.
Tuesday 7- 8pm Broadway Academy The Broadway Birmingham B20 3DP
Thursday 5.30 – 6.45pm Longdon Village Hall Brook End WS15 4PN
Friday 6.30 -8pm mixed ability, family, children & adults. Cooper Recreation Main Street Shenstone WS14 OLZ
Saturday 10.00 -11.00pm Beginners and Mixed class,Wade Street Church Yard off Frog Lichfield WS13 6HL
12.15 -13.30pm Beginners and Mixed class, Broadway Academy The Broadway Birmingham B20 3DP
